Ed Fuentes is graphic artist who ended up writing about downtown L.A. at his blog, viewfromaloft, and formerly as a partner at blogdowntown.com. He is now a contributor at KCET.org, which includes coverage on murals and mural policy with the City of Los Angeles. His previous stints as an art director include staff positions at Variety and NBC, and he has been commissioned works as a photographer and muralist.
